How To Care For Your Ears!

After some wear your ears may look a bit disheveled, here are some tips and tricks on how to keep them in the best condition and how to store them!

Care Guide

All products are durable but still a form of art so please handle them with care.

Water

All ears are handmade and airbrush painted. Excess water will ruin the ears.

Wire

All ears are lined with wire making them bendable/posable. As well, you can move the ears up and down along the headband. If wire along the headband is loose you can gently tighten with a pair of pliers. Access bending can stress the wire and, ultimately, cause the wire to snap.

Horns

All horns are either 3D printed or hand shaped with a foam based clay, While they are pretty sturdy and durable, please handle with care. All horns are on clips or a clear elastic.

Grooming

To groom your ears and tails all you need is a comb or pet brush. I recommend giving them a brush before and after each wear to keep the fur in the best condition. Please be gentle while combing the fur. If ears have a painted design please refrain from brushing the design as it will damage the paint/design.

Storage

To store ears there are several different ways, I personally use command hooks on my wall and hang as decoration. You can also store on wig heads. Please store out of sunlight as the sun can lighten paint pigments. Do not store under anything heavy that'll flatten them.

Bigger Ears

Taller ears such as bunny ears are heavier, if you are having issues keeping them stable, I recommend bobby pins on top of your head as well as under your actual ears to keep them in place (can use any other sort of  clips as well). Bat and medium to large wolf can also be secured using this method.
